I love the holidays, but there's something refreshing about sticking that fake tree back in its box.
Along with a re-vamp of the boys' toy bins (goodbye forever, Thomas the Train!!) I am ready for a personal style overhaul. Goodwill is getting about 100 Matchbox cars as well as every single item of clothing I have that doesn't fit, is itchy or has some sort of bad karma sewn into it. Out with the old, darlings, and in with the post-holiday sales!
My fresh-faced look for 2013 is going to be pared down, polished and pretty. Slim faded jeans, soft cashmere sweaters, a nice navy pea coat and longer, blonder hair are ranking high in my fantasy fashion league...

Happy New Year!
I have been trying to pare things down since I started working in a business casual office. But sometimes it's still nice to put on a high waisted skinny skirt, a ruffly blouse, and sky high heels. Don't know why, it just is. :-)
