Take the Bronze, Babe

This chick sure doesn't look third-rate to me, folks.

Wikipedia's "Bronze Medal" entry states that Olympians who win the bronze fare better psychologically than those who score a silver medal. Silvers are peeved they just missed the gold while those taking home bronze are thrilled to have not gotten fourth place (and no medal at all)...

That kind of mental gratitude is exactly what we're trying to teach Thunder right now--it's okay to get tagged out sometimes, that's why they call it "Tag"!

I'm clearly no Olympic hopeful, but take it from Thunder's momma--that pressure for a perfect winning streak is a tough road to travel (don't even try to play Bananagrams with me, people). So in the spirit of taking it down a notch, here are some shining examples of the beauty that indeed comes from going for the gold bronze.
