In college, I figured I was going to get my money's worth for my tuition by teaching my brain how to do something completely foreign. As I was a theater chick, the logical direction was Global Economics, right?? Who knows what I retained about macro vs. micro (unless we're talking skirt lengths here) but one thing I've always been able to do is pinch a penny. I love the sport in scoping out lower priced treasures to counteract the occasional high-end beauty binge. In today's crazy market, at least I can place one sure bet on looking good... And that's the long and the short of it.
