World Autism Day is today, April 2--iconic buildings around the world (starting with NYC's Empire State) are shining blue lights to help spread autism awareness. Thanks to Autism Speaks and folks like you and me for helping to shine the light on our 1 in 88 kids with autism.

For any parents struggling with issues around this diagnosis, or thinking maybe something is going on with your kid--there is hope! Talk to your medical professionals about your concerns and trust your instincts. Some of my most favorite people in the world have autism, and it has made my life bigger and better in so many ways.
Those of you in the CT area, come on down to the Westport/Weston Family Y on Thursday, April 26th to Autism OutLoud to learn more.
If you or someone you love is touched by autism, and you want to make a quick tax-deductible donation toward this cause, one of my favorite local non-profits is Branches of Hope. They help create miracles.
