This winter break we aren't going to Disney, but I found a happy place I can call my own--it's within an easy driving distance, cheerfully appointed and the staff is accommodating and friendly. Where is this magical bit of heaven on earth, you might ask?
Well--it's Target. The Super Store. Where one can spend $200 in 20 minutes and come out with sackfuls of bright pretty things. I spent three glorious hours there yesterday afternoon, and by the time I shot through the line at Starbucks, iced latte in hand, I might as well have been gliding through the racks at some resort boutique, I was so darn content. It may just sound like I need to get out more (probably--this little jaunt came after a week of being housebound with 2 sick kids--it's possible my perspective is slightly askew) but I managed to re-decorate the playroom and update my spring wardrobe without scaring my husband with the pending credit card bill.
Saving money and skipping the lines at the airport?
